2019 Honda Pilot borrowed many features from the Acura MDX

The 2019 Honda Pilot model is expected to come with some key changes in Its redesign to make it much better than its previous model. The vehicle is not yet out but the spy shots have revealed some important features to be expected from this SUV. The Pilot is seen to have borrowed many features both in its design and specifications from the Acura MDX.

2019 Honda Pilot Exterior and Interior

The exterior body will be made of aluminum to significantly reduce its weight and improve its aerodynamics. The vehicle will have rear lift-gate doors. Basically, the shape of the Honda Pilot will be slightly changed to include new lines and curves to make the vehicle more attractive. It comes with new sleeker and pleasing headlights made of ambiance LEDs, which remain lit throughout the day. The taillights will also be made of LEDs. The grille and the bumpers are also epected to be more attractive. The wheel base will be a bit wider and so will be the other dimensions. The Honda Pilot will resemble the super-size version of the CV-R and HR-V.

The Honda Pilot is expected to be more spacious to ease passenger movements. The vehicle is expected to have seven seats, new infotainment system, latest upholstery and HVAC control, a large central display, conventional climate control Of course the air conditioning system and Bluetooth control are also some of the expected features.

2019 Honda Pilot Engine

The vehicle comes with a 3.5 liter V6 engine which is capable of producing 219 hp with a torque of 267 pounds per feet. The engine will be coupled with a 6-speed auto transmission system and also a 6 – speed manual transmission system will be available. It will make use of the Earth dream technologies and the VTEC, feature that will significantly reduce the fuel consumption and ensure that it is environmental friendly at all times. The rate of fuel consumption is expected to be 25 miles per gallon fuel. The lightweight feature and improved drive train will also help reduce fuel consumption.

2019 Honda Pilot Price and Release Date

The estimated price of this King of The road vehicle will be somewhere between $31,000 for the lower end models and $43,000 for the higher end models. The price will vary depending on the specs, functions and the trim chosen. Honda has not yet provided the official information about the exact release date of the 2019 Honda Pilot. It is however expected that it will be launched at the 2018.
