2019 Porsche Panamera Exterior and Interior
The styling of the 2019 Porsche Panamera is still a mystery with the automaker remaining tight lipped about it. However, from our spy shots, the new model looks more modern than the outgoing one. At the front, the 2018 model looks sportier with a lowered nose which looks like that of the 911.Its lower grille looks new also. Other features include revised headlights and LED turn signals.

Unlike the outgoing model’s rear doors which take the kinked window with them when opening, the new doors openings cut between the main windows and the kinked windows at the C-pillar. At the rear, the vehicle features a larger and more squared-off hatch compared to the current model. This new-look hatch changes the way the rear bumper, lower fascia and taillights look. It is too early to tell how the interior will look as of this time.

However, going by the Porsche’s new models like the Macan GTS expect the Panamera to feature a redesigned infotainment system integrated with a large touch-screen. This system will feature 3D maps with satellite imaging, Apple CarPlay as well as dynamic route calculators. The model will retain its cockpit like cabin. The cabin will be upholstered in fine leather. Its steering wheel, dash and shifter will also be wrapped in leather. Also, expect the most-up-to-date technological features such a Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, USB and AUX ports to be featured as standard. For entertainment, the model will be hooked up with a state-of-the-art infotainment system. The vehicle will also feature a full package of safety features. The vehicle is offered in five configurations which are the Base, Panamera S, Panamera Turbo, Panamera GTS and Panamera SE-Hybrid.
2019 Porsche Panamera Engine
Just as the outgoing models, the 2019 Porsche Panamera will be offered in a variety of engines. The standard engine will be a twin-turbocharged 3.0 L V-6 engine good for420 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. This engine is estimated to produce 17 mpg in city and 27 mpg on highway drives. There is also a hybrid engine. This will be a supercharged 3.0 L, V-6 which combine with a 9.4 kWh battery pack to produce 416 hp. This engine is estimated to deliver a fuel economy of 50 mpg on combined drives and has a 22 miles range on electric power alone. Most likely, the conventional engines will be paired with a PDK seven-speed dual-clutch transmission system and an 8-speed Tiptronic S for the hybrid models. 2019 Porsche Panamera to ensure a smooth driving experience, the 2018 Porsche Panamera will feature a Suspension management system and Dynamic Chassis Control.
2019 Porsche Panamera Price and Release Date
It is too early to for the automaker to release official prices of the 2019 Porsche Panamera considering it is over a year away. However, we expect the price to increase slightly from those of the current models. The current models start at $78,100 and rises to over $ 250,000 for the Exclusive Series. 2019 Porsche Panamera the vehicle will hit showrooms in the second half of 2018 after making an appearance in an International Auto Show before then. The BMW 7 series and Maserati Quattroporte are its major rivals.
